Oral Health Care started providing services to Windsor Garden Skyline Care Center in 2012. Almost immediately, our staff noticed a significant improvement in Dental health of our residents. The number of Dental Emergencies has dropped, and we are getting much less dental complaints as compared to our previous Dental Provider.
Oral Health Care staff is sensitive to the particular needs and health conditions of our residents. They always treat with great compassion, attention and care. They schedule their visits regularly, and customize every visit for each patient's individual needs. Their staff is always available for consultation and to answer any questions our staff or Responsible Parties may have.
They also take great care in making sure that our staff is educated, and understands the importance of our residents' dental hygiene.
We are now able to compare a very important component in the management of our facility. Efficiency. We never realized it with our previous Dental Services Provider (DSP), but having Oral Health Care as our DSP has made us more efficient. Oral Health Care has a clearly defined process, and communicates proactively and clearly with our staff on what the patient needs are, as well as their regularly scheduled visits. The patient notes are easily readable and understood by our personnel. Since Oral Health Care is a Denti-Cal provider, they bill directly without any involvement of our billing office. Share of Costs does not have to be utilized.

Oral Health began working with our facility in the fall of 2007. Since this time, they have come to our facility on a quarterly basis to perform dental hygiene and exams under the supervision of Zoya Kogen RDHAP. We have found them to be an excellent service that has filled a void for quality, affordable on-site dental services. Their staff is friendly, reliable, knowiedgeable, not only about dental care but the intricacies of insurance billing. Their ability to provide services to Medi-Cal recipients has relieved us of a huge burden trying to find competent Denti-Cal clinics to transport our residents to, some of whom are too frail to transfer into dental exam chairs without significant heep or hoyer Lifts. Zoya has made herself available to us as a consultant to trouble-shoot dental needs and Medi-Cal billing issues. Dr. Mehta, DDS one of the several dentists affiliated with Oral Health has also been very professional, reliable and has already fitted several of our residents for dentures without any exorbitant travel fees. We would highly recommend this service for any Long Term Care facility with frail elderly who cannot easily be transported to outside dental clinics.

Hello, my name is Denny and I am SSD at Santa Maria Care Center I wanted to let you know that there is a new SNF oriented dental service available in our area. Oral Health Care Systems, they were recently hired by our facility (Santa Maria Care Center) as our Dental Provider.
OHCS came into our facility and did resident exams and cleanings and I was very pleased. Many of our residents are confused Alzheimer's patients and Zoya and her staff were very professional and had a great bedside manner and treated everyone in one to two visits.
In addition, OHCS does their own Medi-cal billing and this was a great convince since Medi-cal provides one dental cleaning per year. They were so nice that they saw our Medicare residents for no charge as a courtesy.
I highly recommend OHCS as a dental provider. Their documentation was through, and looks great in our charts. Overall they were very easy to work with.

Oral Health Care provides services to our residents since 2011 and we could not be more satisfied. The dental health of our residents has improved, and we experience significantly lower number of dental emergencies and dental complaints in general. That in turn has a positive effect on their overall health.
Thanks to Oral Health Care, each and every one of our residents is on a personalized regular schedule that fits their particular dental needs. While the schedule emphasizes prevention, if a treatment is necessary, it is provided promptly. Oral Health Care works with our staff in a true partnership. The communication is regular, clear and proactive. Visit notes in patient file are readable and clear. I am especially impressed on how quickly and efficiently they can make new dentures for our residents if we happen to need them. Their turnaround time from the day they receive a request to delivering new dentures is less than 3 weeks.
